Phone of the Day: Nortel T7100 Kroger Polk and Cullen Houston Texas

My Houston friend and Raul made a quick trip to get some half and half for coffee to the local old greenhouse styled Kroger near his neighborhood south of downtown Houston.   The older greenhouse style Krogers were built in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but were replaced in the late 1980s with larger Kroger signature stores that included more windows and a larger store layout.  This store had newer graphics and a newer Nortel system.

As see in my earlier post of the Homeland store in Norman Ok, the T7100 digital set spotted here at Kroger as well, is quite possibly one of the most common checkout and sales floor phones in grocery store with its one feature button that is usually programmed for paging.
