Phone of the Day: Nortel T7208 Digital Telephone @ Ulta Beauty Store Highland Indiana

Today’s phone comes from a photo I took a week ago at this beauty superstore in Indiana right over the border from Chicagoland.

Ulta is a cosmetics and beauty superstore which specializes in perfumes, hair products, grooming, salon, and anything related to female and male beauty.

Ulta recently has been beginning to pitch their Nortel products and replacing it with a much more primitive product, Vertical Comdial key systems.  I don’t know what they are thinking, because they could have simply purchased an E-MetroTel UCx50 switch and they could have kept their Nortel telephones and have been fully supported by Nortel veterans.

The Nortel T7208 is an intermediate telephone with eight line/feature buttons and a fixed Feature, Hold, Release, Mute, and Headset button.  These phones were introduced in 1999 to be a more modern replacement  phones for the original Norstar M7000 series telephones.
