Phone of the Day: Nortel M7208 in a Bathroom

Here is a picture of an old beat up but cleaned M7208 that is in my friends bathroom in Indianapolis.  He can press the Line 1 button (labeled speed call) and directly dial me as an internal extension on my UCx system in Chicago.  I love the red and orange buttons on this phone, not to mention the old school meridian text as well.  These are work horse phones that keep working and working, some even after 29 years, as they were originally released in 1988.  The phones were meant to simplify 1A2 key system use with a modern digital system.  The earlier models were made in Canada and were much higher quality with superior voice audio (extremely heavy and well made) than the last models made around 2002.
