Bell Manhole Cover: Noblesville, Indiana

Tucked away in an alley in a quaint restored alley in downtown Noblesville, IN, I found this really cool relic of the old “ma bell” days in the telephone world.  Yes, I’ve seen many of these covers in Chicago with MCI, Level 3, ATT, Ameritech imprinted on them….but it was so appropriate in this restored alley, to find the old school manhole cover with Bell symbol.  It was fate….I walked on over to an antique store and found an awesome light blue rotary phone from 1970…..which I of course purchased!  image(12)
